Day 1 >
You will be received at the Colombo Int’l airport by our tour representative and will be checked into Browns Beach Hotel Negombo and spend the rest of the day with leisure.
Day 2 >
We begin the tour by visiting Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, established in 1975. Today some of these orphans enjoy the fortune of seeing their grand children born in the same location. The members of the Pinnawela herd have beenfilmed, videoed and photographed thousands of times by professionals. Then we would be visiting Dambulla.Dambulla rock temple is a World Heritage Site. It is the most impressive of Sri Lankas cave temples.The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq. metres of painted walls and ceilings, isthe largest area of paintings found in the world.we would be spending the night at Hotel Sigiriya.
Day 3 >
We would be climbing the 5th century Sigiriya rock fortress early in the morning which is a world heritage site, built by King Kashyapa. The Lion Rock is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 metres from the scrub jungle. A moat, rampart, and extensive gardens including the renowned water gardens ring the base of the rock.Overnight stay at Hotel Sigiriya.
Day 4 >
We will be transferring to Kandy after our morning breakfast. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site. Thename Kandy conjures visions of splendour and magnificence. Drive around the Kandy Lake builtby the last Sinhala king, in 1798. Visit the Kandy town andbazaar, the arts and crafts center, a gem museum and a lapidary. Also visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy. Thereafter witness a cultural show.Overnight stay at Hotel Suisse.
Day 5 >
We would start the day by visiting a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best tea in the world is produced.Here you could observe all about the process of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is graded. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory. Then we would be visit Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya, because of its invigorating mountain climate andscenery, is Sri Lankas most popular hill resort. Nuwara Eliya is also the heart of Sri Lankas tea country producing a significant share of the world s best tea. Overnight stay at Bandarawela Hotel.
Day 6 >
We would be going to Yala, the largest national park in Sri Lanka Lanka which is the home for wild elephants, wild boars, wild buffaloes, leopards,bears, deers and crocodiles. Large flocks of migratory and indigenous birds are also found here.Do a safari of the Yala National Park by jeep.Overnight stay at Yala Village.
Day 7 >
Breakfast at YalaVillage.Transfer from Yala to Airport for departure.
